We’re happy to announce that Street Fighter X Tekken will be a 2v2 event at Northwest Majors 4! This comes on the heels of Evolution’s update to their SFxT rules earlier this week. The tournament will be a tag-team co-op event, so each entrant must have a partner.

REGISTRATION

Both players will need to register separately and pay their own registration and entry fees. When registering for SFxT, you will be given the chance to verify whether or not your partner has already signed up. PLEASE COORDINATE WITH YOUR PARTNER! You will need the exact spelling of their name when filling out the form. If you encounter any problems, please contact us at registration@northwestmajors.com.

In addition, a team name is required to finish registration. Again, make sure both you and your partner know the exact spelling.

EVO POINTS

Evolution seeding points will be awarded to BOTH players on any team that finishes in the top 16. The point totals are as follows:

1st: 50 points per player
2nd: 25 points per player
3rd: 10 points per player
4th through 16th: 1 point per player

NOTES:

• These points are tied to the individual player, NOT the team. If you have a different partner at Evolution 2012, your personal point total will not change.
• Once Evo2K12 registration begins, the seeding for SFxT teams will be determined by whichever player registers the team first. Please take note that Evo2K12 registration is still not open at this time, so the above information might be subject to change. We will keep you posted once the final details are announced.
